About Hability

Hability has been providing services in Newcastle, Central Coast and Hunter Regions since 2015.

At Hability, we take a person-centred tailored approach to developing and implementing the services we provide to our participants, with a focus on building and preserving family and community relationships, and where the wellbeing, choice, control and quality of life of the participant is paramount 

Our participants make informed choices about the services they engage with and actively participate in decision making 

We work collaboratively with other services and funding bodies to coordinate decision-making and service delivery for our participants to ensure the highest quality standards of service. 

All of our support staff are aware and trained in NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and other sector and industry relevant legislative and quality requirements and engage in weekly clinical and professional supervision to ensure the quality standards of their work is maintained and that their safety and wellbeing is prioritised. 

Our participants have access to fair and equitable procedures for dealing with complaints and disputes concerning all aspects of the services we provide. 

We implement positive behaviour support strategies that assist our participants to develop skills while monitoring and regulating their behaviour with the chief aim of increasing our participant’s Quality of Life.
